Miss Reena: Medan Stumble

Here's what happen in Medan,

It was raining,it got slippery and I fell.
The flash on my camera won't work
It rain when we visit the Tomok Island
I thought Sepisopiso waterfall is just one of those waterfall we see often,but when we arrived,the view was breathtaking.
The temperature in Danau Toba and Berastagi was 21C,and no one give a heads up about it. So I ended up freezing and beating myself up for not bringing my knitwear.
Our flight to Medan delayed 6 HOURS.
Shopping items are quite expensive compared to Jakarta. Ex: 4 meter textile that I have bought in Jakarta for RM 18, it cost RM70 in Medan. Do bargained 70% off the original price.
My Ipod chose to shut himself at the moment where I needed him the most because I forgot to charge it,so the 4 hours drive was a bit lonely.
Most of the population recites in Berastagi and Parapat are Batak people. Most of them are Christians. We can see a church every 5km along the road.
Danau Toba should be enlisted on "1000 things you should see before you die" list. The view was spectacular. It was breezy and very greenish.
I imagined I was in Hawaii along the driveway from Parapat to Berastagi. You shouldn't waste your time on sleeping along the 4 hours drive cause the view on the countryside along the way is panoramic. No highway.
"Doorsmeer" in Indonesia means car wash.
Do not allow yourself to be cheated by locals to push the trolleys or check you in at the counter,at the Polonia Airport, Medan.
On few of the local hawkers stall in Parapat, you'll see signage/banner that says "B1 dan B2 ada disediakan disini". B1 stands for Anjing bakar,whereas B2 stands for Babi bakar..
