No air-cond?

Me and my girl, T, on  my last day in Middlesbrough. Sob sob

***********
I just got back less than a week ago. I arrived at the airport to these.

My dad even greet me at the arrival gate and escorted me from the immigration to the arrival hall.
Aren't they the cutest? With all the balloons and signboard and everything.  Oh I am one lucky lady!

I came home at 3 am in the morning after we had dinner in airport's KFC.
I ate like mad.
With all the fried chicken, wedges, chicken nuggets and Big Apple donuts that N brought with her to celebrate me coming home. I was so hungry so I ate it all.

Here's a pic before the table went clean

Later at home I served myself one bowl of maggie curry some more. Haha.

Before calling it a night, I took one long shower and get myself ready to finally be with my sweet comfy bed.
I began to switch on the air conditioner but it made no sound.
I press the button again but it still goes quiet.
Before I realised it, noooooooo
The air conditioner da rosak.
My God,
**Tidur sambil kipas muka pakai tangan**

But again, sleeping at 28 degrees only allows me to slept until 5 pm the next day.  Haha.
I blame the jet lag.

I woke up and went to my mum straight away complaining about the air conditioner.
She said try change the battery and see whether it still working.
I said the remote control is still working but its just the air conditioner doesn't retrieve the signal from the remote.
I completely ignored her suggestion and wished for my mum to call the electrician instead.
She said tried changing the battery first.
I still insist on calling the electrician part because I ams o sure the remote is still working because I can still see the digital numbers popping on the remote.
My mum just smile and said okay, she will call tomorrow.

Later that evening, she just went in my room  quietly removing the air-cond's remote battery and replace it with a new one while I was actually on the bed typing this post.

After its done, she points the remote towards the air conditioner and press a button.
And voila, its working!
The air-cond began radiating sweet cold air that brush through my skin like a honey.
Then she put the remotes on my dressing table gently and walk out from my room, quietly.
Its like a watching a live cartoon.
And I just laughed at myself
She can be so funny even in discreet.

How I love my mum.

xoxo. Love you

Buddies

Breakfast at Nero's. Yup, the unhealthy kind with chocolate full throtle

Hello gorgeous people!
How have you been?
I know I'm good and I can't stop be thankful to Allah SWT for that.
I just finished  my exams earlier this month and been travelling to meet my friends in Cardiff and Manchester.
Both short trip has been nothing but filled with pure happiness and self-celebration.

Just though want to share something.
When I first arrived here at Teesside, I did not when through the commotion called homesick.
As arrogant as it sounds, I actually experienced another side of the longing which was I miss my friends back in KL a lot. Like really A LOT.
I even went through a short depression trip when I miss them too much and I had no buddies here in the first 5 months.
Back in KL, I'll always have my monthly food hunting sessions with my girlfriends, occasional dinner with my colleagues and chilling out at mamak till wee hours in the morning with McDonalds sundae's to wrap it up with my hummingbirds.
So what happen was after the exam, I took an impromptu trip to Cardiff and Manchester to meet my friends.
Just to get away from the town awhile.
But first I bought myself these giant meal to celebrate the last day of exams

And then Subahanallah, God has blessed me with a heaven trip in both places.
Despite the rain and 108 miles/hour cold wind blowing in my faces, I guess God still works His mysterious ways to sneak in the happiness and blissful of a friendship through these people.

Cardiff

Had a cup of hot chocolate at one of the most authentic  coffee shops called Coffee Barker

Thanks Nadiya for being the most competent photographer!

Thank you Fida for causing me to unzip my pants on my way back home sebab bagi makan banyak sangat

Manchester

I had expereinced the worst wind ever in Manchester.
I was told that the wind was blowing 108 mph that night

This guy actually cooked me a nasi lemak for breakfast when I was there. Sumpah sweet
I came back from both trips with a happy heart and a cold, unfortunately.
But I was grateful. I started to feel that I had find myself back and feel the love of a friendship again.
The best part was, I was greeted by my Teesside girlfriends with same amount of love here after.
And just like that I have found my buddies here.
Bless them

Guess what, its finally snowing here in Middlesbrough!!

HAHA. The most jakon person in the world to see actual snow.
I was practically screeming by the road side when the snow rain on us.
Hee.
Till then , toodles peeps! xoxo

Middlesbrough is Awesome!

Anak hayam jinak-jinak nak selfie.
Tak tahu kenapa entry kali ni terpanggil nak merapu dalam Bahasa Melayu.
Da sampai UK baru nak cakap Melayu kan.
Hee..
This entry will be mix of bahasa and english all over it.
But enjoy reading the merapu-ness ;D

My lady senior lecturer looks like a supermodel.
With her long legs and slimming figure, I fell ike nak menangis to call her my senior forensic lecturer.

And my classmates, they all came to class with messy up-dos and prada-like tote bags.
Macam gossip girl.
I is envy.

The classes was very hands-on sangat.
In our vehicle lab examination, each of us is given a car to examine.
Bayangkan berapa banyak kereta dalam lab tu!
Awesome giler!
And they never let us share our equipments.
Each is provided our own.
Like these ipads...

There was once in my 3 hour forensic practice class, we were given an Ipad setiap sorang, a topic and a list of reference. We were asked to prepare a short presentation using those things within 1 and half hour. I macam nak menangis sebab kenapa high tech sangat class ni.
But the best part is, we were given a list of reference to goggled
Tolong la cakap sweet.
Imagine in Malaysia, they did this.
It will be like na-ah.
But here...ohemji. Terlalu terharu.
But then again, technology and me can never really get along.
Masa dapat Ipad tu, I don’t even know how to switch it on!
Embarrassing gile...

The facilities in school and in all the university building are equipped with facilities fits for dyslexia, people who used hearing-aid and
wheelers (orang yang guna wheel chair. Wheelers is my short term to use in this blog)
Diorang punya elevator, class, signboards, speakers  semua lengkap untuk membantu mereka yang kurang kemampuan untuk travel, melihat dan mendengar.
Memang amazing sangat.

And of course being the jakon I always am..
I just recently learn how to use Photogrid app..
so kalau boleh semua benda nak diper-photogrid-kan.
Haha. Sudden craze.

So disebabkan diri ini masih dalam keadaan excited state, so I pun start la active using Instagram account.
Kindly assist to do the necessary
i.e follow the bimbo account, thank you.
Wink!

Owh did I mention, yang I am now a supermarket addict.
Now pantang free, 1 jam pun jadila, laju je kaki ni mengayun langkah ke supermarket.
Since semua kedai, facilities and mall are within walking distance,
memang harusla tak fikir dua kali nak menuju kesana.
Sometimes I can just jump around 3-4 supermarkets and bought only toilet cleaners in one day.
Its like a personal satisfaction dapat berada dalam supermarket-supermarket ni.
Masalah betul

And yes, I cooked. Halal supermarkets are just nearby.
So the worst thing that happen is I tak boleh nak focus dalam class sebab dalam otak duk sibuk fikir malam ni nak masak apa, cukup tak ingredients, or kena gi supermarket lagi. Hee.

But all in all, I had fun.
While the time I'm here, I'll make sure the three steps will be fulfilled
First step, acclimatize.
Second step, buy clothes and accessories.
Final step, travel!

Weehoo..but wait, mana part “berjaya dalam study “ni?
Haha.

Till then Toodles. Love you. xoxo

Holiday Surprise!

The holiday which I previously planned going on my own..was joined by my team sparkle!!
Totally unexpected.
A complete surprise on my end.

I had plan on this holiday to find myself back.
I never thought I would do this with Dyana and Nadrah with me.
Syukur Alhamdulillah.
God really works in mysterious ways.
Subhanallah.

And...
I 'm celebrating my 25th birthday today!
That explains the cupcake and the candles in the picture.
Hee.

Till then, toodles.
xoxo

Silly Me in a Holy Ramadhan

Happy Ramadhan darlings!
I made this roasted chicken with grilled baby tomatoes and mash potatoes for our final meal before heavenly Ramadhan arrives.

Then Papa's birthday was just around  the corner.
Instead of buying, I decided to bake a birthday cake for him!
And I think it turns out so-so.
The taste was good but I though the look was dreadful. Haha!

Dreadful, rite?

The reason I wanted to bake the rainbow cake was that
I was so excited to try this marshmallow frosting form here.
It was an easy recipe and the outcome was awesome.
The frosting tasted sweet and fluffy!
But really had to reduced the sugar, though.
Too sweet.

On Ramadhan eve, I had a sudden craving for desserts (But don't I always?)
So, I baked this on second day of Ramadhan to quench my demanding tummy.

The view from 23rd floor of a construction site.
Went there for a job and met with sweetest safety officer ever.

*******************************************************

Every Ramadhan will always remind me of these. I miss them so much.

Honey Journey

(Had no idea what this dessert is called, but it tasted artistically heaven)

Dear blog,
Every time I saw a breathtaking view that is worth for your viewing,
you are the first thing that cross my mind.
I'll took photos of it and promise myself that I'll share it with you.
But its been weeks long since I've taken the pics and I already had bundles of it.
So, I'm gonna carefully select which picture to publish it for your view.

Here it goes..

**********

Last month, my gals and I went for food hunting adventure and landed ourselves in Bangsar.
We wanted to try out new foods and
finally sink our tooth at Bens General Food Store.

We ordered pizza, lambshank and mushroom zuchinni.
The lamb shank was the best one I had lay in my tummy.
The pizza was good too.
The place fits for spending time with your loud girlfriends over good food.
If you're not there for the food, they also served nuttella milkshakes and fruits flavoured sodas.
The place is definitely a winner.

My girlfriends being the true food-hunters were recording their findings.

Celebrate Mom's birthday in mid May.

Last week, the company where I'm currently performing my internship held their annual
company trip in Koh Lipe Island in Thailand.

The island was beautiful and the locals were friendly.
I had such a great time and memories from these place.

I had the best fried chicken sold by the hawkers along the Wang Kelian's border.
The chicken cost you only 3 for RM5!
Sedap giler!

**********
The admin staff from my workplace and I
made a pack to go to for weekly exercise routine twice a week.
So on the first week, we decided to went up to Batu Caves to climb the stairs.
Before I reached the place, I thought
it would take at least half an hour just to reach the top.
But it turns out the opposite.
It took us only 20 minutes to reach the top and back down.
(Fast, rite?)
And the stairs has 272 steps. I've counted.

**********
Last Friday was my last day of internship at AGI.
It was such a sad moment for me to leave those darling people.
The day started by me having to go for a site visit, and when I came back to the office at noon,
I saw these at my desk.

I almost cried.
Then we went for lunch+dinner+played bowling together to bid our farewell.
I feel so blessed and honoured to be able to know you guys!
Thank you AGI'ans!

End of Entry.
