Yesterday morning was fun.
I had my forensic lab in from 8 till 10.30am, then I went to the post office and renew my driving license, then I went to the library for the Library Open Day.
There were few stalls selling old books and novels.
I stop by at the MPH booth and browsed the old books that were on sale for only 10%.
Then I bought a book call Lavender Morning by Jude Deveraux. The synopsis were about a girl who her mother just died, later her father remarries, and then she met a woman who teaches her about life and the mystery about her family's history.
Seems interesting, though I haven't read it yet.
There were also few of Nicholas Sparks novel, including James Patterson's as well.
It's devastating that I can't buy them all.
One of the Nicholas Sparks novel really catch my eye,it's called The Wedding.
I have never seen or heard about it before. So when I was choosing which novel to bought,it came down to this two. But I go for the Lavender Morning because I wanted to try out something new rather then just reading love stories.I have never bought his novel though I love to read them. I used to read them in the bookstores, just sitting by the bookshelves and read it for an hour or two. I've seen the movies as well.
Message in th Bottle, The Notebook, Dear John,
Nights in Rodanthe, A Walk to Remember..
After I bought the book, there was blood donation campaign going on and I was up for it. While my hand were bleeding its way to the blood bag, I can't stop thinking about the The Wedding.
Its really appealing to me because the story was somehow link to The Notebook novel. But I convinced myself that I've made the right choice with Lavender Morning.
Later at 4pm, my next class was starting. The lecturer came in late, so the whole class were still at ease. And then I heard one of my friends said that today is the last day of the Open Day.
That's it.
It took me only 3 seconds for me to bolt out from the room and head straight to the ATM machine to cash out and then straight to the MPH book stall.
Yes ladies and gentlemen, I've bought the book.
By 4.20pm, I was back in my classroom with my lecturer no where to be found yet and my face swelling with pride.
I have bought my very first Nicholas Sparks novel, The Wedding.
My Pride
Owh, the part where my morning was fun was that by 12pm of yesterday, I done my lab, opt for blood donation, renewed my licence at the post office, bought a novel and later call my mun to tell her how great my morning has been.
p/s : I love you whoever is reading this!
xoxo
