Adinda SPM

 Yes people.
The one on the right is my bimbo brother.
And yes, he is sitting for his SPM from 14th Nov till 6th Dec.
His Birthday will be on the 8th. His 17th birthday!
Can't believe how time flies so fast.
During his SPM period, I will be home monitoring him from eyes open to eyes shut.
Like a hawk hunting on his prey. Kidding!
But I'll be home tutoring him and make sure he does his revision.
But oh boy, tutoring a 17 year old boy do has its challenge.

  • First, waking him up will be like a pre-war. I had to bang his door, make sure he is awake and wait till I hear the shower runs. If I didn't hear the shower or the bed creaks, than he's not up. So I'm gonna have to repeat the process of banging his door etc
  • Then he'll have his late breakfast with the loud TV before starting his revision. I'm gonna have to remind him that is revision time or he'll just forgot that he's sitting for SPM this year.
  • While tutoring him, I'll have to make sure not to get his all work-up cause once he feel the pressure, he'll lost interest revising the subject. Yes, that's how fragile my bimbo brother is.
  • I also have to be constantly motivating him with words of encouragement. This part can be tough because, the first motivating word I'll utter, he'll rolled his eyes. but I knew, at one point, he's taking the words in.
  • There's an SPM question bank where you can download the question from all the states here. I've been tutoring my brother based on this sets.
  • Everytime he's having his friends around for group study , I tried to load the table with as many food I can to make sure they won't run out of sustenance.
  • Have patience. Always have patience. (I find this part is crucial). And NEVER give up, no matter what.
  • Excepting his credibility. My brother may not be an Einstein in his studies, but I tried my best to trust  his efforts.
  • And most importantly, raise your hope to God and prey.

I hope that one day, despite all the worst he's been through,
he'll turn out to be a great man and a loving son.
Cause I'd knew that he is one amazing brother I could ever hoped for.
***smile with tears***

p/s: Once upon a time, I swear my brother look just like this. hehe..

Toodles!
